Brittany Celebrates One Year with REG

Brittany Johnson recently celebrated her first year with Roberts Event Group. I recently caught up with Brittany the find out how it feels to one year under her belt.Brittany Johnson, 1 year employee, Coordinator, Event Planner, Employee, Roberts Event Group Employee, Kevin and Brittany

Did you think your year with Roberts Event Group would fly by so quickly?

My first year flew by! Time flies when you’re having fun!! I truly enjoy coming to work every day. I really like my co-workers and the fast paced atmosphere. Although it can be tough, I wouldn’t want it any other way. I learn something new every day. My first year has been a great learning experience and I can’t wait to continue to grow as an event coordinator here.

What was your most interesting group to date?

Hmm… my most interesting group to date would have to be a group we worked with last May when I first started. We coordinated their awards dinner where we had an amazing aerial artist cascading from an apparatus to kick off the event at The Franklin Institute. We also coordinated a few group activities while they were in Philadelphia including a “Starr Dine Around” and a 5K race that ended at the Art Museum. This group was a great opportunity for me to get just a small taste of what my first year at Roberts Event Group would be like.

What is your next career goal?

My immediate career goal is to perfect my skills as an event coordinator. There is so much to learn, each and every event is different from the last and it takes time to truly understand all aspects of event planning. In the next few years, I would love to pave my way into Sales.

What do you like to do in your off time?

On my time off I enjoy simple things—going out to dinner, getting in a great workout, or just hanging out with close friends and family. Recently, most of my time off has been spent planning my Fall wedding!

If you won the Powerball, what is the first thing you would buy?

Hmm… The first thing I would buy if I won the Powerball would most likely be a new home 🙂 And then a car…
