Dine arounds are always a delight to since Philadelphia has become a beacon for foodies everywhere. There is truly something for everyone while visiting the city of Brotherly Love. Here are a few spots that you do not want to miss:
- Foodies: Reading Terminal Market has everything you could ever dream of when it comes to food! There is produce from local farmers, cannolis from one of Philadelphia’s most esteemed bakeries, a plethora of cheesesteak options, and so much more!
- History Buffs: the Independence National Historical Park is a perfect stop. The park features the Liberty Bell which is enclosed in a glass case that overlooks the park. The birthplace of our nation, Independence Hall is also there for visitors to tour.
- Art Enthusiasts: The Barnes Foundation is a unique art museum that features the world’s largest collections of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, early Modern paintings and African sculpture. Next door is the Rodin Museum, home to the largest collection of Rodin sculptures outside of Paris. Continue down the picturesque parkway and arrive to The Philadelphia Museum of Art, which houses over 240,000 pieces of art. And, of course while you’re there take a run up those famous steps and stand in place to see “Rocky’s” view of the city!
