The only city to celebrate the Fourth of July is Philadelphia, the city of our country’s birth.  Wawa Welcome America, a weeklong festival of celebrations, was a huge success that concluded with the Goo-Goo Dolls Concert and fireworks over the Philadelphia Museum of Art.  Our company was proud to be a part of each event that made up our Nation’s Greatest Birthday Bash!  Roberts Event Group provided operations and logistics for all the events including Taste of Philly at Penn’s Landing, Chinatown’s Block Party, Pop’s concert and Celebrate Freedom at Independence Hall, Party on the parkway and many, many more!

After a brutal winter, our staff couldn’t have been more excited to breath in the fresh scent of spring at the 2010 Philadelphia Flower Show! Our teams of greeting staff and a “Green Team” helped make the Sunday evening reception a complete success.

Right in the heart of awards season, this corporate party couldn’t have implemented a better theme—Hollywood! As guests arrived for cocktails, Joan Rivers greeted, asking “What are you wearing, darling?” A police officer guarded the entrance to the ballroom, adorned with elegant red, floor-to-ceiling draping, Oscar-like statues, and up-lit foliage. After cocktails, guests made a grand entrance through the red carpet and pole and stanchion, where “Paparazzi” and “Fans” shouted for autographs and pictures. A corporate comedian provided the laughs after the awards, and casino games and dancing followed.
