Roberts Event Group is proud to introduce our January Employee Spotlight, Renee McIntyre. Renee is an Event Services Coordinator at Roberts Event Group. Renee is a seasoned professional in the event planning industry. After interning at REG her senior year in college, we were proud to bring Renee back as a full-time Event Services Coordinator this past summer.

Renee graduated from Temple University School of Tourism & Hospitality with a focus on event planning. Renee gained experience in events working with various companies after graduating. “Interning with Roberts Event Group made it clear that working in events is what I wanted to pursue a career in.”

What Renee enjoys most about her position here is: “I love that my job entails a balance of both right brain and left brain tasks… I get to utilize my logic and organizational skills… and I get to explore my creative side.”

Renee always likes to see REG plan “Any type of public event promoting Philadelphia as a destination.”

Roberts Event Group was proud to take part in the 35th annual Candlelight Night in Moorestown, NJ. Residents walked the main street, which was shut down to traffic, to enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, crafts, music and more. REG provided entertainment for a bank with carolers and crafts for children. The carolers welcomed families inside where the children were excited to make their own snowmen on light-up cups.

Something we love to do at Roberts Event group is give back to those in need. We recently produced a teambuilding event at the Hyatt Regency, where participants made “No-Sew” fleece blankets and put together candy bags that were given to charity. Participants engaged in some friendly competition in seeing who could make the most candy bags or complete the blankets the fastest. REG also provided our client with off-site dine outs, receptions, and on-site meeting services. It was wonderful to see the employees interact outside of the office and all for a good cause.
