A cheerful crowd gathered in Rittenhouse Square on Thursday, December 3 in anticipation of the lighting of Philadelphia’s largest Christmas tree! Roberts Event Group provided the festive entertainment for the city’s annual event, hosted by Friends of Rittenhouse Square. Prior to the lighting, the crowd enjoyed the songs of Victorian Carolers, the Season’s Greeting’s Mummers, and the Chestnut Hill Academy Choir. Other entertainment included a visit from the Pennsylvania Ballet Mouse King, an Elf, and of course, Santa Clause! After the beautiful illumination of the towering tree, TD Bank hosted photos with Santa accompanied by more songs by our Victorian Carolers.

On Friday, November 27th, Santa and his elves swapped their sleigh for SEPTA transit! Merry elves, musicians, and Santa entertained SEPTA travelers on five trains en route to the Gallery at Market East on Black Friday. Once the trains arrived at the Gallery, a gala parade led this festive crew to the center court where the official kickoff to the holiday season took place. Roberts Event Group provided entertainment, character performers and coordination for this multi-dimensional event.
